Arpit Garg is a Research Fellow at the Responsible AI Research Centre (Australian Institute for Machine Learning), University of Adelaide. He earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Adelaide. His work across academia and industry has focused on responsible AI, and robust deployment of large-scale models. He has also worked in TikTok Trust & Safety research, developing ML methods for safer online platforms, and in film/VFX, building machine learning pipelines used in blockbuster movie production at Rising Sun Pictures, contributing to major titles including Sonic3, Deadpool vs Wolverine and Madmax.
